Art

My journey into digital art began more as an experiment than a creative pursuit. A few years ago I invested in a digital drawing tablet to improve the detail in my 3D modelling work. Unexpectedly, this opened up a new world of digital painting, allowing me to create a range of beach bags that naturally complemented my jewellery and woodcraft.

Initially, I planned to outsource the printing. However, after discovering DTF (Direct to Film), I decided to invest in the equipment to produce them myself, ensuring the finished product met my own expectations.

While I have always been able to draw, I never previously felt the same 'spark' as other artists, nor did I believe my paintings were something others would want to own. That perspective changed once I saw my work translated onto physical pieces. Seeing my art find its place on my bags, and finding a receptive audience for it, has completely transformed how I view my art.
